தண்டவாளத்தில் நின்று செல்போனில் படம் பிடித்தபோது ரெயிலில் அடிபட்டு என்ஜினீயரிங் மாணவி ஒருவர் பரிதாபமாக இறந்தார். மற்றொரு மாணவி படுகாயம் அடைந்தார்.

என்ஜினீயரிங் மாணவி

தட்சிண கன்னட மாவட்டம் மங்களூர் டவுன் தேரேபயல் கொஞ்சாடி பகுதியை சேர்ந்தவர் தயானந்த் ஆல்வா. இவரது மகள் வர்ஷா(வயது 20). இவர் புத்தூரில் உள்ள தனியார் என்ஜினீயரிங் கல்லூரியில் விடுதியில் தங்கி 2–ம் ஆண்டு பி.இ. படித்து வந்தார்.

இந்த நிலையில், நேற்று  வர்ஷா தனது தோழியான புத்தூர் பகுதியை சேர்ந்த ரக்ஷனா உள்பட 5 பேருடன் நேருநகர் ரெயில் நிலையத்துக்கு சென்றார். அப்போது வர்ஷா, ரெயில்வே தண்டவாளத்தில் நின்றபடி, ரெயில் நிலையத்தில் நின்ற ரெயில்களை தனது செல்போனில் படம் பிடித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.

ரெயிலில் அடிபட்டு சாவு

அந்த சமயத்தில் அதே தண்டவாளத்தில் சுப்பிரமணியா–மங்களூர் பயணிகள் ரெயில் வேகமாக வந்து கொண்டிருந்தது. அதை பார்த்து வர்ஷா ஓட முயன்றார். அப்போது அவர் கால் தடுமாறி தண்டவாளத்தில் விழுந்தார். இதனால் சக தோழிகள் அவரை காப்பாற்ற முயன்றனர்.

ஆனால் அதற்குள் வர்ஷா மீது ரெயில் மோதியது. இதில் அவர் சம்பவ இடத்திலேயே உடல் நசுங்கி பரிதாபமாக இறந்தார். மேலும் ரக்ஷனா என்ற மற்றொரு மாணவி பலத்த காயம் அடைந்தார். இதனை பார்த்த சகதோழிகள் ரக்ஷனாவை மீட்டு, மங்களூர் அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரியில் சிகிச்சைக்காக அனுமதித்தனர்.

போலீஸ் விசாரணை

இதுபற்றிய தகவல் அறிந்ததும், மங்களூர் ரெயில்வே போலீசார் சம்பவ இடத்துக்கு விரைந்து வந்து, பலியான வர்ஷாவின் உடலை கைப்பற்றி பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக மங்களூர் அரசு ஆஸ்பத்திரிக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். மேலும் இதுகுறித்து ரெயில்வே போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்து விசாரணை நடத்தி வருகிறார்கள்.

செல்போனில் ரெயிலை படம் பிடித்தபோது, ரெயிலில் அடிபட்டு என்ஜினீயரிங் மாணவி பலியான சம்பவம் அந்த பகுதியில் பெரும் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது.
